Frekuent brings payment innovation to the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025

The fintech ecosystem has been looking toward Singapore this week. From November 12 to 14, the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025 took place at the Singapore EXPO in its 10th edition, now firmly established as one of the world’s largest and most influential financial industry events with more than 600 exhibitors.

In this context, Frekuent participated alongside our CEO, Xavier Sans, and our General Manager for Southeast Asia, Javier Hernández, who has been key to consolidating Frekuent’s presence in the region. Both represented our payment and loyalty solutions at the Spain Pavilion, within the space organized by ICEX at the International Pavilion.

A global meeting point for the next decade of finance

Under the theme “Technology Blueprint for the Next Decade of Finance”, SFF 2025 focused on how artificial intelligence, tokenization, and quantum technologies are redefining global finance.

Over the course of three days, the event brought together thousands of attendees from more than 100 countries, including regulators, banks, fintechs, investors, and major tech companies, to share use cases, discuss emerging regulations, and explore new avenues for collaboration.

At Frekuent, our mission is to turn every payment into an opportunity to build customer loyalty and make transactions as simple as they are frequent. Being there meant connecting directly with Asia’s financial innovation epicenter.

Frekuent at the ICEX Spain Pavilion

Our participation took place within the Spain Pavilion, coordinated by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Singapore. The pavilion is specifically designed to showcase the Spanish fintech ecosystem, facilitate meetings with investors, and generate business opportunities across the region.

Within the Spain Pavilion, Frekuent had its own booth in the ICEX area, where we held an intensive three-day schedule of meetings with potential technology and commercial partners, live demos of our new Frekuent Spot devices, and conversations with institutional representatives and key players from the global financial ecosystem.

New Frekuent Spot devices and AI capabilities

Both the Singapore FinTech Festival and the ANEDA Expocongress, held during the same week, served as the perfect stage for the premiere of our new Frekuent Spot devices and our ongoing commitment to integrating AI into payments and loyalty.

We introduced the new Frekuent Spot Pro, Compact, and Mini, devices designed to adapt to different types of businesses: from advanced POS terminals with enhanced capabilities to compact and ultra-compact formats that fit any environment, all while delivering a seamless payment experience. Each one embodies Frekuent’s essence: enabling simple, cashless, and contactless payments, and helping transform occasional buyers into recurring customers.

We also unveiled a new AI-powered chatbot functionality integrated directly into the device, offering real-time assistance during the payment process and helping users troubleshoot issues on the spot.

Institutional visits and high-level networking

The Spain Pavilion featured an official agenda coordinated by ICEX that included networking events and institutional meetings. At Frekuent, we had the opportunity to present our solution to the Governor of the Bank of Spain, the Spanish Ambassador to Singapore, and other institutional representatives, as well as to various investors and potential partners interested in payment and loyalty solutions for unattended and self-service environments.

These interactions strengthen Frekuent’s position as a relevant player in the payments ecosystem and open the door to new institutional and commercial collaborations.

Looking ahead from Singapore

Southeast Asia has become a key pillar of our international expansion, with Singapore serving as our strategic hub to strengthen our presence in a market that is essential for digital payments and unattended services. The Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 allowed us to showcase the new Frekuent Spot devices, validate our new AI functionality on the ground, and deepen connections with institutions, partners, and investors who share our vision.

For us, every user interaction is an opportunity to build trust and long-term relationships. If you would like to learn more about how Frekuent can help boost payments and customer loyalty in your business, reach out to our team and let’s talk about how we can support your next steps.
